AWC Day 22

Day Twenty-Two, was stuck in rush hour again
Jumped in the car to join the early morning queues
Driving listening to the radio
Enjoying some old school tunes
On the way on the M4, doing a Heathrow run
Trying to catch the flight as in late it comes
Chugga lugga chugga freight trucks roll on by
Over take on the inside lane
That’s a no-no so why do they try?
Where are the police when you need them most?
Probably at another G20 making another person a ghost
Anyway… I’m sitting in crawling traffic
As it snails and trails along
Music keeps me sane
So I sing a Cypress Hill song
Rap keeps me awake with lyrics to amuse
Hold on where am I going?
Damn! These road signs were designed to confuse!
Got it! Found the pick up point
Found my way at last
So glad to see my Mum & Sis
I hope their holiday was a blast!
Tell a tale of one of your airport runs
Where you went and how it made you feel
Stuck in stopped traffic
Just watching the other side’s opposite moving wheels.
