It’s Saturday and the weekend’s here

I’m so glad for two days

I don’t have a care in the world

With my feet curled

Under me

I can do what I want

I might sleep and dream in rhyme

Waking to write a masterpiece

That could fade the instant I open my eye

Or I could try to bake a cake

Or cook an exotic dish

Jumped in the car to join the early morning queues
