No Detours

Not taking no detours

I've faced my pain

I'm not going down...

that path again.

A friend of 5 years...

I care about,

said he doesn't want friends

who don't put out.

I'd made it clear...

he was just a friend...

didn't know that...

could cause it's end.

15 years I called him friend...

and then he made his call,

I told him that I couldn't play...

he hasn't been back at all.

My best friend of all for 7… Continue

FAMILY FUN NIGHT AT DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Last night I enjoyed a night of fun and games at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. United Methodist Church, 5114 Windsor Mill Road and Forest Park Avenue in Baltmore, Maryland!

There was even an opportunity for everyone to visit the clothes closet and choose donated clothes, jewelry, magazines, toiletries, etc. for FREE! It was a blessing to see so… Continue

just like You

Jst lke You

I have been degraded by society,

Cause o what I am.

I have to work at everything I do,

Cause I'm not taken seriously.

I have been labeled.

Cause they are too ignorant to know me.

I have to be stubborn,

Cause the nice game doesn't work for me.

I have to be cautious,

Cause the nice game doesn't work for me.

I have to be cautious.

Cause nothing is a free ride.

So remember this, my friend.

I may be paled… Continue

The Premise of Pain

We’ve all experienced some degree of pain in our lives and we’ve dealt with it in the best way we knew how to at the time.

Pain has a purpose, in the body, its purpose is to let us know that there is a problem that needs attention. In the emotional body, it presents for the same purpose but may be a little harder to see as we haven’t been accustomed to relating events and circumstances in our everyday life as pain in our emotional body that needs our attention.

The Dance

The place they call Heaven…

They say is out there…

Beyond the stars…

Past our fear.

But how can that be…

When we are the divine…

If it’s not within,

How can one shine?

Could it be true?

It’s a state of mind…

That surpasses our darkness…

Leaves us no longer blind.

If it were a dance…

A unity untold…

That lifted our spirits…

To illuminately unfold…

Our steps would be the journey…

Our touch would form the… Continue

The Price

How can I tell you the things that I see…

Without being thought of as mad,

My words fall short when I try to explain…

The experiences that I’ve had.

For all you see is flesh and blood…

You can’t relate at all…

To the perfect pattern and how it works…

Through both rise and fall.

For if you ask for much you must be prepared…

To suffer the opposite extreme…

To give it all and know the cost…

Before you can live your dream.

The pendulum… Continue
