searching for reasons why i write

i hurt i searched ,i wonder why,
there is no love in my life,
reason for it all,
i stand tall still i fall,
illusion of a migrating call,

like geese flying south for the winter,
like butterflies caught up in a hurricane,
like a bat in a blizzard,
searching for reasons why i write

a poet and his rhymes,
heart soul and mind,
must flow as one ,
like the colors of life
,
why do i write
i must feel ,i am real,
i must agree,to disagree,
i must hurt .to feel joy,
i am somebody,
who knows somebody,
could that somebody be you,

i am a open book, i am the words and hooks,
i am the person who reads them,
pens them live them,shares them
i am the person who connects,
i am the person who's not correct,
i am the one who is always corrected,

in heart soul and mind,
thu lifes trouble times
from words that rhyme
so why do you ask what you should already know,
i write not for fortune fame or gold,
i write just to free the inner creative soul,
i write so that my spirit may soar,
i write for the same reason GOD made,
man,woman boy and girl,
i write to breathe the essence of life,
i write just to see the colors shine so bright,
i write for wrong that may be right,
i write to give the blind sight,
i write to feel so alive i am so alive when i write,

poetry in motion if you get the notion,
let me be the one who whips up a portion,
of why you read what i write,
something that you like,

It’s a girl , it’s a girl…..the world stopped for a minute, and there you were.

as i watched an angel wings unfold,

beautiful a blessing to behold,

as i danced with the heart of my soul,

there was not a sound, only rays of at last i found,

some one who loves me,some one who needs me,

some one who accepts depends on me,,

some one i will protect with my dieing breath.

some one who's conquered my fear of death ,

i never forget how time stopped for a minute,

it was when my life you enter in it ,,

never thought a blessing could be,

till in my realm you stepped in,

our eyes met thats when i knew,

that forever love will be us two,

you stared and then smiled,

what could i do,

i fell hoplessly in love with u,.,peace wizthom

LOVE IS THE FORCE ,THAT RULES US ALL,,

tpl angel candace

hello my name is candace

Candace

my name is Candace

inside there's an angel,
trying to come out,
with wings on my back
a hay lo on top,
extending my hand ,
to make you my friend,

the world is so cruel,,
the lack of understanding,
blinds them to the fact.
i am a precious jewel,

narrow minded and fear ,
all they see is a cocoon,
who are they to judge me
ugly what is the meaning ,
when beauty is only skin deep,

if you took the time to know me,
i would open your eyes to see,
all wonders of life,
the true meaning of paradise,

but you waste so much time judging a face,
not caring to look past the tear trace,
why do you fear when you can understand,
i am a person who loves,who feels,
who needs ,who wants,
to be somebodies friend,

so when i approach you,
my name is not monkey
in a world of surface thrills,
you can not see the beauty within,
the rivers ,mountains oceans sky,,
or hear the sounds of a humming bird in flight,
birds singing butterflies fluttering ,
peacocks colors strutting ,

i am so much more ,
my name is not monkey
my soul,my spirit ,my heart,
my mind ,is so pleasing in Gods sight,
as the angels dance they call my name,
my name,my name is Candace,,for a friend wizthom
i plan to donate 30% of book sells on our little angels behalf,
mimi author candace publishing who is a member will be doing the inspirational book,,yes ur photos will be in it as well,

1,000,000,000,000.00
Today the US deficit hit $1 Trillion.
The first time in US history.

2,500,000,000,000.00
The projected US deficit by the end of this year.

$38,000
The amount that every tax payer in the US
would have to pay to resolve our debt today.

$76,000
The amount that every tax payer in the US would
have to pay to resolve our debt by the end of 2009.

9.5%
The US unemployment as reported today. The highest
in 26 years. The "real" number is likely 12%-15%.

20%
The US "underemployment" rate.
Folks with part-time jobs who need and seek full-time jobs.

Foreclosures are still rising. Bankruptcies are still rising. Businesses are closing their doors in droves. States are failing economically.

And now, to pay for healthcare "reform" (nationalized healthcare), which most Americans don't want, President Obama is proposing tax increases of the highest order.

And if President Obama's Cap & Trade/Energy legislation passes, MUCH MORE taxation, and a significant rise in energy costs, across the board, for EVERYONE.

All of this in six, short months. I don't even want to begin discussing the questionable actions and behaviors of the inept US government and White House staff, such as Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Robert Gibbs, Tim Geithner, Eric H. Holder— the list could go on, and on.

People, wake up. This CAN'T be what you voted for.

'Public Option' Remains Possible Snag As Vote Looms

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid needs 60 votes — that's every Democrat and both Independents — to clear the way for a vote on historic heath care legislation Saturday. The final two Democrats fell in line Saturday afternoon — Mary Landrieu of Louisiana and Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas. But the holdouts still expressed strong reluctance about the "public option" in Reid's bill.

Breast Cancer Guidelines' Impact On Black Women

White women have higher breast cancer rates overall, but black women get the disease more often before age 40. They also tend to have more aggressive cancers and lower survival rates. That concerns Dr. Marisa Weiss, a Philadelphia oncologist. She tells host Guy Raz how the breast screening recommendations released this week by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force could have an especially rough impact on black women.

Enough With The 40th Anniversaries Already

The Internet at 40. Sesame Street at 40. Even the Wendy's hamburger turns 40. NPR producer Travis Larchuk tells Guy Raz he's had enough of the celebrations — and stages a 40th anniversary intervention.

Army Policies Re-Examined After Ft. Hood Shooting

Defense Secretary Robert Gates ordered a series of investigations in every military branch this week to examine the process used to identify potentially violent troops. Military officials are still puzzled over the shooting at Fort Hood that left 13 people dead and dozens more injured. They're trying to figure out how alleged shooter Nidal Hasan might have slipped through the cracks, and whether the real problem is the military's policies or leaders not following them.

U.S., Internet's Inventor, Lags In Web Access

Despite being the country that invented the Internet, America lags far behind nations like Japan and South Korea in broadband speed and access. Guy Raz checks in with Thomas Bleha, author of the book Overtaken on the Information Superhighway, to find out why.

Fallows On The News: Health Care, China, Palin

The Senate spends the day tackling health care, President Obama returns from China, and former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin goes "rogue." Guy Raz reviews this week's news with James Fallows, national correspondent for The Atlantic magazine.

'Emancipation,' A Story Of European Jews' Liberation

Europe's Jews began to fight their way out of the ghettos during the tumult of the French Revolution. It's the focus of Michael Goldfarb's new book, Emancipation: How Liberating Europe's Jews from the Ghetto Led to Revolution and Renaissance. Guy Raz talks with Goldfarb about how that liberation paved the way for thinkers like Marx, Freud and Einstein.

Rakim: The MC Reveals His 'Seventh Seal'

The renowned rapper has finally issued his seventh album — his first in 10 years. Here, he reflects on the early breakthroughs that earned him his living-legend status, and talks about delivering a conscious message in his new work.

The 'Wild And Wooly' World Of Bulletin Boards

These days, if you want to find a fling, a friend or a cheap used sofa, you might check Craigslist. But decades before Craig Newmark posted his first list, computer users all over the country were connecting through electronic bulletin boards.

Marines Reflect On Duty, Death In Afghanistan

When the Marines of "America's Battalion" first arrived in Afghanistan, they were eager to get into the fight against the Taliban. Now, as they wrap up their seven-month deployment — and after the loss of a dozen comrades — they see warfare in a different light.
