Osbey Books, Inc., is a small publishing company located in Chicago and prints short and long runs of books. We specialize in Non-fiction and Fiction titles. Founded in 2004 by Pam Osbey, an author who has over ten books self-published, the company has a variety of teen and adult authors of books and anthologies.

- Publishing books for authors and helping to publish many teen writers. Winning the 2004 Gwendolyn Brooks Award for Literacy efforts in Chicago and 2nd Place as the Spoken Word Artist of the Year in St. Louis (2003), as well as being honored to be placed in the 100 Literary Divas book published by Disilgold Publishing, in early 2006. The founder of Osbey Books, Inc., also has been published in the Chicago Defender, True Romance Magazine, Bronze Thrills Magazine, Black Romance Magazine and The Nubian Chronicles to name a few.

- I love to help youth express themselves and find other ways to deal with stress than violence. In other words, putting their pens and minds to work, rather than gun or physical violence. I really love using words (writing poetry) as well.

I don’t need diamonds, rubies, or gold,
To give me self worth,
Long as I got the love of my little girl,
I value nothing on this earth,
I don’t need to praise God,

He has angels for that job,

To reassure me of whom I am,
