Give and Get this Holiday Season

November 20, 2007 -- As our children get older, we get dumber and they get smarter. Am not sure why or how that happens, but it definitely does happen. When a 10 year old tells you at the breakfast table that she doesn't need Christmas presents and that it would be better to give things or money to people who really need it- well, even Dad gets it. We get along pretty good now for the most part. Of course I always say how I feel and the other guys keep it in until they're good an pissed! We have our moments and like any relationship it takes hard work and communication. The biggest thing lately is how often we practice and play. Since all of my kids are grown and the other guys still have small kids they are limited to how much time they spend, where I would be love to be doing it more! Oh well patience is a virtue isn't it? Love ya guy, hope your new year is the best yet!
