I am a writer, poet, author, and retired Air Force Member. I write in all genres and I just published my first book. I am relocating to Colorado Springs from Miami, FL. I am venturing out to write for all, about all, and the quest is a serious venture since I have been writing my entire literate life.
I wrote this work under the name of Unobtainable while in the Air Force. It is an exploration of relationships, emotions, and through the verse I take the reader there to visualize all that is presented before them. This is not a contrived effort. From the cover displaying my tattoo, to the contents to the back of the book...my efforts, my emotions, and my thoughts.
Unobtainable, is a statement of not being able to be bought, sold, or to be a coward in this life. The reality of walking a courageous life that has placed me on a quest to look at all of humanity. From the explorations of excess in all things to the abasement of our humanity.
Just published book number 2 - Season of Want through Triad Publishing Group
and I also have a column through www.chictoday.com and contribute on a regular basis about the arts community.

Peace. The day when we realize that fear is only going to produce violence and we can live life without expecting to be hurt will be a great one. The end of materialism and respect for other individuals in this world. There are no infidels in this world...for intolerance breeds hatred and divisions that cripple us from our full potential.
To touch as many people as possible through my work.
Love is real. Too many people have given up on their dreams and love.
Without love, life is not worth breathing in.
The regrettable life are those who discard their dreams and fail to turn them into reality.
Courage is the act of living. To ask yourself the question what if this were the last day that you walked this planet...what would you do?
Life is about the act of doing, sharing, being more than yourself. Be more than for others and always with an open hand and not a close fist. What is due will come. Do not worry for things, things do not have emotions to hurt. My journey is just beginning. It is time for me to call upon the life I have lived already and now the telling of all begins.
When disaster strikes, our natural instinct is to take cover and seek shelter. But in severe weather, especially the type that breeds tornadoes like we saw in Oklahoma and parts of the Midwest this week, there are those who ride toward the storm.
When Margot Adler learned that a cousin had hidden from the Nazis in Amsterdam, she was stunned. Adler started digging around and discovered that like Anne Frank, 25,000 Dutch Jews hid, and two-thirds of them survived. Her cousin was one of them.
The tech industry is getting a lot in the Senate's immigration overhaul bill. It increases the number of temporary worker visas for skilled technical workers but the industry is pushing for more, including the end of provisions meant to protect American tech workers from unfair competition. The industry's goals and tactics are antagonizing other groups that want to see the bill pass.
Apple CEO Tim Cook faced tough questions on Capitol Hill on Tuesday. He defended a tax strategy that allows Apple to avoid taxes on tens of billions of dollars of profits. Cook also called on the Congress to lower the U.S. corporate tax rate.
Dominique Venner, a well-known French historian who embraced and wrote about ultra-conservative causes for decades, committed suicide today in front of the alter at Notre Dame Cathedral. He had left a post on his blog decrying the legalization of same sex marriage in France. "An infamous law ... can always be repealed," he wrote. "It will require new, spectacular and symbolic actions to rouse people from their complacency."
