My Passion:
My passion has always been writing, which is second only to thinking in my book (pun intended).
My Hopes:
My work is meant to change the stereotypes about African American women. I want to reveal the diversity within our community to the world which currently focuses on just one segment (the ghetto) as being representative of us all. Once this perception changes, I think it will influence public policy which has been directly linked to society's conceptions of race, class and gender.
My Dreams:
My dreams are the same as my hopes. i want to be instrumental in this change.
What Else?:
I want to be a resource for other writers. Because of my background and experience in publishing, I can be a source of information for those who need support and advice.
