Judge a book by it's cover

We have all heard you can not tell a good book by it's cover. -But lets us be truthful.......don't we sometimes........just sometimes.......pick a book by it's cover?

How important is the cover of a book?

Would you pick up and buy a book if the cover were all black with it's title in white letterings?

Does the cover have important, and influence?

What's your opinion?

Hi there Lord williams its good to meet you, I actually think that a book cover can make or break a persons decision to buy it. Something about a book cover draws the reader towards the book in the first place , of course we can all make mistakes and think that the cover was the best thing about the book and it actually was not worth reading! As with all things you are never able to really generalise. I love art so I like my books to have lovely covers if possible,
happy reading though!
bye for now and its great to meet you here

How The Civil Rights Movement Was Covered In Birmingham

Patients Lead The Way As Medicine Grapples With Apps

Smartphone apps can help count calories or detect a heart attack. People are embracing them to manage many aspects of their health. But medical apps are largely unregulated now, so there's no easy way to be sure which ones are trustworthy and which ones aren't.

Mexico's Tech Startups Look To Overcome Barriers To Growth

In the past decade, Mexico's tech industry has flourished, growing three times faster than the global average. Most of that growth has been fueled by demand from the United States. But as Mexico's startups strive to make it in foreign markets, they say they need more engineers and ways to finance their growth.
