II have just published a child’s book named "Lady Flatterley"

As a nurse, I have been inspired by my grandchildren to write books, especially books on the wonders of nature whether it be fictional or non-fictional. I would like to see children grow up to appreciate God’s creation that is so unmistakably displayed at the dawn of each new day.

I feel there are so many distractions out in this world that can lead the child from learning about the important values in life. To me, my main focus in writing Christian books is to help the child to understand and… Continue

Thanks for those kind words on my blog Linda. I'm so sorry to hear of the news about your book. It must be soul destroying to have put so much aork inot it and then find so many errors in what should have been the finished, polished article. I do so hope that you resolve the rpoblem before long and that your book evenutally brings you the rewards you deserve.

I must admit I'm having a few problems withthe publisher who is supposed t be bringing out my latest book, (not the same publisher as A Study in Red), so I have some idea what you must be feeling.and I really appreciate you taking the time to send me your congratulations inthe midst of your own troubles.

Best regards

Brian

Hi Linda,

Thanks for the blog comment. I do indeed have a very talented frined who designs most of my novel covers for me. His name is Graeme Houston and he is a veritable genius, in my mind. He kind of 'sees' muy book inhis mind and then designs a cover that reflects exactly the way I envisage it to compliment the story within the pages.

Best regards

Brian

Plaintiff In Indian Case On Settlement

The federal government announced Tuesday a $3.4 billion settlement with Indian trust account holders after more than a century of mismanaging their money. Elouise Cobell, a lead plaintiff in the long-running lawsuit Cobell v. Salazar, says the settlement means a lot to her, but more for American Indians who have waited a long time for justice.

High Court Skeptical Of Anti-Fraud Law

Study: 30 Percent Of Americans Are Caregivers

A new study says that 66 million Americans provide care for an elderly parent, family member or a disabled child, and that caregiving has become an unpaid, part-time job. On average, caregivers provide 19 hours of help a week, and this causes people to miss work or to quit work altogether.
