William McDonald, American Authors Association:

Poet Kevin Brain Wright is a romantic in the best sense of that word. He captures the divine romance of life through his brilliant prose. His words come across as if they were written by a 15th century monk who is high on the spiritual bliss of Holy Communion. One can almost feel this inner joy and “light” he projects with images from his words and phrasing.

Wright’s poetry evokes those same sacred feelings that come from the work of… Continue

My Lady Of Graces

My gracious lady, so more the glorious than all the

Surpassing graces that the high heavens has bestowed

Upon this universal world, as she virtuously walks the

Lesser light with every sole sweet step, where her

Blessed feet are received over an earthen vessel of

Sacral water, my sweet affections move ever toward

Her dreamy loveliness.

God made her a woman in the image of a mortal veiling

Saint by loves true virtue, as he himself set apart… Continue

Season Of All Natures

High peering, primerose hills, and crystalline sweet water dales,

Whereon my lady walks a laureled path, beholding to the tender

Hand of love, amid natures flowery veils of fragrant maiden violets,

That impending cloud will keep a print, of her beautious face

In an earthly gentle mould.

Upon a leafy bough, the blue bird conducts his delightful symphany

To day, In sweet division, and every high note heard is felt within

Her Constant soul, when it nests… Continue

Heavens Patroness

O’ Heavens patroness, Who commands those angel

Gazing spheres, and gave the stars and moon to the

Blue seducing night, like the fair sky of Venus by

Natures art, glistening on a substantial beam,

Painting the doe-white clouds, with the chastity of virgin

Hue, and that bright shining that showers her in kindly light.

Her immaculate rays, so soft!, Warms her sweet aspects,

I Devoutly avow my faithful love, where my true hearts passion

Foresees no… Continue

About Me:
At the early age of nine Kevin B. Wright developed a natural gift for writing poetry - especially in the romantic genre. His first poem of note was [Bid Me Love.] written April 12th, [1982.] He nursed his ambitions to become a principle poet in literature. He was published in The American Poetry Annual by the time he was eleven; introducing readers to one of the most passionate and prominent voices in romantic poetry. He has been credited over 60 literary honors, including the Dickinson Award, and currently has a bestseller in Europe, as well as three books in print translated in over several different languages.

He has written poetry for Queen Elizabeth II and has been regarded for his strong command over the English language, his romantic currents, passionate views and the most beautiful and elaborate imagery, that fascinated the reading public. Wright went from a romantic poet to being called a Romantic Hero and has been published alongside Lord Byron, John Keats, Emily Dickinson and Edgar Allen Poe.

He made the cover of [The Queens Ledger, The Forest Hills Times, The Rego Park Times, The Glendale Register, Leader Observer and The Queens Examiner] As well as had featured articles written about him in [The LIC Journal, Astoria Journal, Times News Weekly, The Tribune, The Queens Chronicle and The Queens Courier] and was interviewed on The New Yorker Late Night Talk Show .
