President Obama outlined his strategy for Afghanistan on Tuesday, announcing he was sending an addition 30,000 troops to the country. The decision comes at a difficult time for many congressional lawmakers who see the war as a no-win quagmire.

President Obama announced he is sending an additional 30,000 troops to Afghanistan, a long-awaited response to a request made by Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the top U.S. commander in the country. Tom Bowman and Don Gonyea of NPR, Rep. Howard "Buck" McKeon, ranking Republican on the House Armed Services Committee, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Bing West, retired Marine and a former assistant secretary of defense under President Reagan, Matthew Continetti, of The Weekly Standard, and E.J.
