About Me:
I am from Chicago, IL. I am a 22 year-old woman who believes in four things: God, friends, family, and of course, the power of literature. I think that if poetry did not exist, I would not have been able to keep my sanity in tact among other things. I've been writing poetry since I was 10 years old. My mother told me that I always had a knack for self-expression and that I would become a great orator or a poet. And she was right. I am now a poet, actress, and author. (Well, I am working on becoming the next Zane, so work with me. There's no such thing as an overnight success.)
My Birthdate:
7/5/84
My Hometown:
Chicago, IL
My Website:

My School or Alma Mater:

My Career:

My Accomplishments:

Why I'm Here:
Professional, To Network, To Share Ideas
My Passion:
God, friends, family, life.
What Else?:
I love making friends, writing poems/short stories, and of course, I love life. I believe in making the best out of any situation.

U+Me

U+Me= infinity.

Walking hand and hand in this corrupted land filled w/ love and serenity.

You and I have chemistry and it's because of our astrological signs.

It's more like you being my proton when these electrons try to block me.

It's more like you being my affliction that methadone itself cannot cure and frankly, it's quite shocking.…

Dream

One day, I will become somebody because success is my goal.

One day, I will be able to buy my momma a house w/ a walking closet so that way she won't have to put her stuff in my closet anymore.

One day, my name will be everywhere to the point where someone is dying to choke the hell out of me because I'm in a million places.

Travelling around the world, meeting new faces.

Drinking the finest wine while having Benjamin Bratt's twin brother on my…

How can I?

I want to love you but I can't because my heart fears rejection.

I want to hold you but I can't because my arms are not used to receiving affection.

I want to kiss but I can't because my lips are full of deceit.

I want to caress you but I can't because love is not a part of me.

If I can take away the pain; I would but how can I if I am the cause of it all?

How can I look you in the eye and say, "Our love will never fall?"

How can I look you in the…

Hidden Poison

He has a swagger that no one can top.

He drives a Black BMW w/ money in his pockets because he's the cream of the crop.

He has a smile that brightens up the room and his hair is neatly cut or braided.

At times, he wears a business suit or a pair of blue jeans and white tee w/ a pair of shades on w/ an attitude to match, so yeah, he's quite jaded.

Nevertheless, he's loved by the ladies, but extremely loved the brothers on the low.

Sex so damn good; it's hard…

BEAUTIFUL (Dedicated to the Haters)

By being the woman that I am; I have decided to

Eliminate your belligerence from my mind simply because you are not worth the energy or the time.

As usual, lames like you have a knack for hating on girls like me who are sweet, independent, strong, intelligent, and

Unique as far as talents go, and well, you can't handle it.

Truthfully, the things that you say don't phase me because I have heard worse.

Ignorance is not bliss and my tail you can kiss, because…

Hello Dana,
I look forward to reading more and networking with your group. I am currently working on marketing my up and coming book titled " POET-OGRAPHY, HEAR ME THOUGH. In additon to that, I will be working my first Stage Props Manager production for Campaign4Change on Jan.5th, 2008. About the haters, " DON'T LET THEM RENT SPACE IN YOUR HEAD ". Trust me, I know about those negative spirits, all my life I have had people who would rather see me " HIGH THAN SEE ME FLY ", all up in my business. Today I keep it simple and respond to the " HATERS ", by saying, " NO VACANCIES ".
PEACE OUT !!!!
" The Man With The Unbreakable Spirit ".
Kevin.
