- Distinct Ladies is a local book club here in Memphis, TN. We started in Oct of 2006. Our organization consists of Women from different professional fields, which share the yearning to develop spiritually, mentally and socially through writings of all genres. It was designed to enhance and enrich knowledge and reading powers as well as encourage each member through fellowship. Distinct Ladies is currently open to positive sisters in search of a reading group that strive to make a difference within the African American community. Each month, a book is selected by the hostess of the month. We currently meet every 3rd Sunday of the month for regular meeting which includes, book discussions, games, fun and fellowship.
