The People's Lounge

I'll personally never forget that fateful day... working from home, I watched it all unfold right before my eyes, on the television... it was horrifying. My favorite American city... my favorite buildings... all those people.

Tell us about what you remember... where you were, what you saw... what you felt... as a person, as an American, as an international citizen...

Blessings, Wil/TPL

9-11 is indeed, a day no american will ever forget, that is why it is very important to know what really happened. Recently, I discovered a site that provides the evidence of what really happened. The site is www.americaninquirer.com. I recommend it to anyone, who is trully interested in the events of that day

That day as i remember, i was home preparing to go to class at the C.J.R.C, ( COURT PROGRAM ). By the time i reached class, the discussion about the events of the World was taken place. In disbelief, it was a very humbling experience, because the concern for others began to show itself among those of us that otherwise may have been written off as selfish, self-centered, individuals of the court system. The silence alone, as we watched over the TV., gave the counselors a new perception. That day i am certain we all left with an adjustment and conscious thought for others, as well as a message, as we closed class that day with a prayer.

I am a Nicaraguan citizen, despite living so far away I was not able to stop my tears at all that pain, horror and death, but most of all my tears were of anger and helplessness to see how few criminals had taken the life in your hands of so many innocent people as if they were God, it's incredible to levels so low that it can reach a human being, but the most painful for me was so much loss of life without reason, without justification, the pain of having lost so many people Parents, mothers, sons, brothers, friends, God has in his glory to all these people that their lives were cut short by some unfortunate criminals and help heal the wounds of their families and the entire American people, my sympathy and my love for all that brave people.

Healthy Juices.

Happy And Insured, Man Has Doubts On Overhaul

Dave Koenig has health insurance through work, and is happy with the plan. But as the health care debate drags on, he says he's losing faith in the overhaul plan. Koenig, who calls himself a conservative, says that at first he was open to President Obama's call to regulate the insurance industry to protect patients. But as lawmakers negotiate behind closed doors, and it's still unclear how much it will cost, Koenig is growing wary of the plan. And he's hoping his health insurance won't change when all is said and done.
