LET THEM KILL ONE ANOTHER
by: David W. Johnson, Jr.

Why should our enemies care if we rob and kill one another
If we destroy one another, it saves them from having to do it
African Americans, wakeup before this madness goes any farther
Mothers, teach your daughters they have something more than a slit

We must start to work together if our children are to have any future
The younger generation these days sees no reason to get an education
For too many African Americans children education is just conjecture
If children are to have a future, adults must began building a foundation

Brothers and Sisters, we are putting our children in graves and prisons
Yes, our children are joining gangs and dropping out of schools is true
Not children but adult’s neglect is burdening them with cruel afflictions
Think about it adults, without proper guidance what are children to do

If a son has been neglect by his father, chances are he will do the same
If a daughter sees her mother sleeping with man after man, she follows
Children form the opinion that having a mate in their lives is just a game
For some, destruction of African Americans is an easy pill to swallow

Senator Obama said, African American Men should step-up and be MEN
Instead of getting upset with what he said, we best start paying full attention
African American Women, start looking for Men on whom you can depend
You need someone to help, not someone to cause you unnecessary tension

A dead or imprison child is proof that, “you can do bad all by yourself”
If children had, two Parents and more Mentors things would be different
It is very difficult for a Mother or Father to raise a child by him or herself
REAL Men just do not impregnate Women then become totally indifferent

A lack of education, bullets and drugs are destroying African Americans
Smarten up and becoming more responsible will help us go a lot farther
If not, in a few years we will be off to prisons and graves by the caravans
You remember this, our enemies are saying, “Let Them Kill One Another”

Thats right David many parents around America need to know this........parents have to get involved in there children's lives many of the children around America will argue that there is no hope in the future.....after seeing what there parents do...they don't leave us to dream , our dreams are crushed just at the moment you think about. when your parents don't pay attention at all!!!
KEEP ON PUSHING
by: David W. Johnson, Jr.

Appears we have forgotten how to fight anything but one another
What happened to fighting for education or safer neighborhoods?
Those days when we thought of one another as Sisters and Brothers
Growing up in the city but behaving as if we are from the back woods

Young people in need of love and respect but have no where to turn
Good teachers are discouraged and flee from the cities to the suburbs
All this madness around them, how are our children suppose to learn
12th graders who do not know the difference between verbs and adverbs

Police, once worried about being kicked, now worry about being killed
Six year olds and nineteen year olds are all carrying guns to schools
Shooting people for induction into neighborhood gangs are their thrills
Our clean, well-kept neighborhoods have become drug-ridden cesspools

Malcolm X, George Jackson, Stokley Carmichael must be furious
Imagine, they gave their lives so our children and we could have ours
To have a better way of life, parents nor children today, seem curious
Their lives just slipping away while they drink, drug or sleep for hours

No, this is not true of all African Americans but it is for far too many
Problem being, the negative numbers are not shirking but growing larger
If we do not wake-up now, a future, our children truly will not have any
Number of African American children killed or arrested grows each year

Some reality, things will definitely not get better if we “throw in the towel”
Let us wake-up, come together and for everyone’s sake, find a solution
Those who would like the situation to remain is not asleep but on the prowl
If Children are to survive Adults and I mean ALL adults, “Keep On Pushing”

They Need Us
COLLEGES, NOT CEMETERIES ARE THE ANSWER
by: David W. Johnson, Jr.

Just where do we think killing one another will get us?
Selling drugs, robbing banks and killing police officers
Sure, lots of things happening to us is unfair and unjust
Gangs, drugs, dropping out of schools, are not the answers

Our children need adults in their lives if they are to change
Get from in front of the Keno machines and off the bar stools
Between adults and children, let us regain parental exchange
Crime is filling our jails, cemeteries and emptying our schools

Instead of running towards, adults seem to be running from
From their responsibilities, children, work, anything positive
Things adults are doing to help destroy our children is dumb
About the things, negative, not positive children are inquisitive

Do not misunderstand me; there are some really good adults
Listening to the local News on Nov. 8th I was very impressed
Former Maryland teacher, Erica McCullough getting results
Thanks to her, needs of our young people are being addressed

Adults and children, visit baltimorechild.com and read about her
There are lots of Erica McCullough’s but our children need more
Take my word for it, adults like Erica, young people really prefer
For a child to step into a better life adults must first open the door

Do we really think our children want to kill, be killed or go to prison?
This writer knows first-hand that children prefer positive motivation
Fearing being killed, in front of their homes children cannot have fun
Adults are we going to offer children hope or watch their destruction

The death rate of our children continues to increase on a daily bases
Why, because neglect of our children by adults are growing like cancer
Just look around, you can see the hurt and neglect on their young faces
Adults, wise-up and realize, “Colleges, Not Cemeteries Are The Answer”

Positive Things Come From Positive Minded Adults
my friend everyone talks about the black man troubles giving him,,
speaking as black born raised American,i do not need a half breed from a vacationing state
telling me ,
how to step up to be a father. when he is confused about whom he is,
further more why should the poor man always pay the band ,
for the rich to dance.history makes me weep for a country .
who took ,stole, hid, my very essence of whom i am ,
yet want apologized for the injustice ,if it seems i am bitter ,
don't blame me cause it's my soul doing the responding ,
i am a father will always be a father,i need no-one to tell me how to be a father ,,
i am a father first then a man
believe u me fathers know this.i say this because i am the father of all races ,
,so tell obama he can kiss my ass, some people should not attempted to think for themselves,
like putting a cock gun in the hands of a child,.... you say our enemies are saying let them kill themselves,

i agree for a enemy of my enemy is my friend ,i say let the weak ignorant ,blind stupid and dumb do what they do best,,how else will the cream rise to the top .peace wizthom
CHILDREN NEED HEROES NOT ZEROS
by: David W. Johnson, Jr.

We seem unhappy unless, we have a new Cadillac
Or when we are going to clubs ordering top shelf liquor
Let’s not forget Atlantic City Vegas playing blackjack
Wives, children and a girlfriend on the side, real “slicker”

Destroying our own, for our enemies, we are just tools
Men, we know so very little about the society we live in
Monies we waste should be to send our children to schools
On today’s men, women and children can hardly depend

Children are dying and men are doing little to protect them
Everything bad children do we quickly blame the children
For their crimes, males should be the ones society condemn
Women today seem to be the ones children can mostly depend

Big question, where has most of the REAL FATHERS gone
Fighting in Iraq and other places, everywhere but at home
Young women trying to raise children today, seem the norm
Young men, from young women to young women they roam

Instead of trying to discourage such behavior, older men encourage
How in the World can we not see we are helping kill our children?
With unfortunate communities, fortunate communities must immerge
If we do, from negatives to positives our children we could bring

It does not take a blind man to see what is happening but a MAN
Think about what will happen when there are no STRONG MEN
May not want to accept it but I assure you that is part of the plan
With no STRONG BLACK MEN, on who will families depend

Time we go back to working to own instead of just working to buy
For some, violence in Black Communities are like picture shows
If our children are to have a future, starting today, we must all try
Seriously my BROTHERS, “Children Need Heroes Not Zeros?”

Young Men Need REAL Older Men
i am trying to stay on point here,
you say we know little of the society we live in,
we know just look out your window ,on television, advertisements,
clothing, and if you still don't see society look at a prison show,
there u can't miss it .
u should not blame mothers or fathers,
in USA where sex violence are the norm and flare ,
the more blood gore and sex,the more air play promotion
blame the system for it's the leaders who permit this,
rating systems wow it's long gone,God religion ,
gone in favor of a church friendly conflagration,
can't discipline child ,but u can zombie him out on pills,
we can do something ,hold those whom u put in office accountable,
spend time with ur child, spend time with children events .speak ur mind,
forget about this black and white thing lets think as one,
get back to the land after all God created us from the land earth ,,
the further we get from land the further we get from God,
a society who lacks faith in a higher power,
is a self destructing place.stop thinking of one ,think of all, wizthom
